A. Yes, Brodit are pretty quick at producing holders for any new devices that are introduced. Brodit ProClips are also manufactured for new vehicles and are released after they have been thoroughly tested.

A. Yes, Brodit produce holders for all the popular Satellite Navigation units including Tom Tom, Navman, Garmin and Navigon.
Q. Where are the Brodit products manufactured and can you guarantee the quality?
A. All Brodit products are manufactured in Sweden from black ABS ( Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene ) plastic. This strong, rigid plastic is used on many other items from other industries, not just automotive and also has a smooth clean appearance.

Q. Does the Brodit ProClip require any holes to be drilled in the dashboard?
A. No, there is no drilling involved and full fitting instructions are included.
Q. Is the Brodit charging holder supported by the latest Apple iPhone as I have noticed that on some ‘non’ Apple iPhone accessories these are not compatible?
A. Yes, the Brodit active charging holder for the Apple iPhone is compatible for charging. The charging lead provided is a Griffin USB Powerjolt adaptor that is supported by the Apple iPhone.
Q. Can my Brodit charging holder be wired into the vehicle, rather than using the lighter socket?
A. Yes, this is possible but we would only recommend that this is completed by a qualified auto electrician who has experience in fitting this type of product.

Q. If I have 2 handsets can I use 2 separate holders and change them easily when required?
A. Yes. Brodit have produced a couple of options either a Move Mount item# 213005 or 213006. Other option is a double mounting plate 213008.
Q. Will my Bluetooth hands free car kit still work when my phone is in a Brodit charging cradle?
A. Yes, the Bluetooth in the phone will still continue to operate when in a Brodit active charging holder. The Brodit active holder will charge the handset and also keep it secure and within easy reach.
Q. How many positions are there available for a Brodit ProClip to be attached to the dashboard?
A. It depends on the vehicle but the majority of vehicles will have at least 2 different mounting positions. You should consider the primary use of the device you wish to put in a Brodit holder, for example a Sat Nav or device being used for this purpose should be positioned high to ensure optimum sight of the satellites tracking you.
