Brodit manufacture Passive and Active Brodit Holders for the majority of handsets and other devices.
The decision on which devices a Brodit Holder is manufactured for, is determined on the popularity of the device and a minimum order run of 300 units is required by Brodit to justify a cradle being produced.
As not all devices have a specific Brodit Holder available, there is the option of using a Universal Holder, attached to a Brodit ProClip.
We recommend firstly using a Brodit Herbert Richter mounting adaptor with Tilt Swivel which should be attached to the Brodit ProClip.
The Brodit Mounting adaptor 215058 with tilt swivel, will screw straight into a Brodit ProClip and the tilt swivel mechanism will allow the plate to be angled towards the driver and then tightened to remain secure.
It features a male Herbert Richter ratchet system.
The Herbert Richter Universal Holder is adjustable from a minimum width of 35mm extending to 75mm and has the 'female' Herbert Richter ratchet system on the reverse of the holder, (Indicated 1 in green).
A larger Herbert Richter Universal Holder is also available which extends to 87mm.
The universal holder can be easily attached onto the Brodit Mounting Adaptor above using the Herbert Richter ratchet system.
Once in place this will be a secure mount which is also adjustable and can be removed and replaced if required.
A Herbert Richter ratchet system is part of this mounting plate and once fitted a 'female' Herbert Richter holder can be attached.
