1. Remove the original Universal Mount from the Nextbase headrest mount by loosening the screws. Place the mounting adapter plate onto the back of the Universal Mount and screw it into place with the removed screws.
2. Loosen the screw in the center of the mounting adapter tilt swivel so you can remove the attaching plate on the back. Place the attaching plate onto the Brodit headrest mount. Screw the attaching plate into place with the enclosed screws. Tighten the screw so the tilt swivel is firmly in place, but still can be adjusted/angled.
3. The headrest mount parts are to be installed the way that is shown the picture. Place the back part of the headrest mount onto the front side of the headrest. Press it toward you, into the gap between the seat's headrest and back support. Place the mounting plate onto the back part of the headrest mount so the screws match the holes. Tighten the two screws using the enclosed tool so the headrest mount is firmly in place. The headrest mount is in place.
4. Place the Universal Mount with the attached mounting adapter plate over the mounting adapter tilt swivel and press/slide it downward so it is properly in place. To remove the Universal Mount: Press/slide it straight upward.
